SOAR's Our RISE program is a community-based alternative to wilderness therapy that offers adventure as a way to address mental health challenges when traditional talk therapy is not effective. The program is specifically designed for middle school students aged 11-13 and high school students aged 14-18. RISE provides a more accessible and affordable option for those who may not be able to afford the cost or intensity of wilderness therapy. By using experiential activities, RISE helps students build confidence and resilience while also addressing their mental health needs.
